these little berries grace my side fence. i love how the blue color contrasts with the reddish branches. not sure what they are but they remind me of the pokeberries that we used to make paw prints for our cats when i was a kid.
Didn't everyone mash up berries, and make paw prints of their cats? ;)
We loved our cats and they were our partners in crime as we roamed the neighborhood. So they had no problem letting us put their paws in strange maroon goo to make neat little footprints on paper. We spent a lot of time devising crazy things like this outside until the street lights came on, our daily signal that we needed to head home.
