i made cioppino, a seafood stew, with friends and it was so delicious. It was the first time I had eaten it and now I'm afraid, I'm hooked. It has fennel bulb in it which I don't normally like but it blended into a fuller, non-anise flavor that was great. And of course the inclusion of crab had me from the start. -I love eating crabs, even if they're not blue crabs.
surprisingly the dish originated in San Francisco but it really reminds me of a dish my Portuguese roommate used to make.
